MANCETTER, Warwickshire
Mancetter, Warwickshire.
The village is close to the Watling Street, near to Atherstone.
It owes its name to the Roman settlement of Mandvessedum.
The church of St. Peter is very fine and is mainly of the 14th century work.
Adjoining it is the ancient Manor House.
